# Human-in-the-Loop

### Introduction

Activity Inbox is where you find all the messages from your assignments. Duvo lets you stay in control, so anytime an assignment needs your input to continue, you will see it as a notification in the Activity Inbox.

***

### Where to find it?

The Activity Inbox is located in the left sidebar of your team space. Any time one of your assignments needs your input, you will see a notification appear.

### How to use it?

Once you enter the Activity Inbox, you will see all the new notifications in *Pending*. All the ones you've already answered will appear in the *Answered* section.

To handle one of the pending requests, click on the card and simply write your answer to the assignment so it can continue.

### Notifications via Slack or Microsoft Teams

You can receive Activity Inbox notifications in Slack or Microsoft Teams so you never miss a pending request.

* **Slack** — Connect Slack in your notification settings and enable Slack notifications. Pending requests are delivered as messages in Slack, and you can respond directly from the Duvo Activity Inbox.
* **Microsoft Teams** — Connect Microsoft Teams at the team level, link your personal Teams account, and enable **Activity Inbox in Microsoft Teams** in notification settings. Pending requests appear as adaptive cards in Teams, so you can handle approvals without switching apps.

Both options are configured per user under **Settings > Notifications**.

### Key Takeaway

The Activity Inbox is a single section in which you can review what inputs your assignments need, instead of looking it up individually for each assignment.

This allows you to stay efficient and organized and always keeps you on top of what your assignments are doing.
