New Admin Sign-Up Flow
When an admin signs up for Duvo for the first time, the product walks through a short onboarding sequence before reaching the main workspace:- Welcome screen — an introduction to what Duvo can do
- Connections setup — a prompt to connect the tools your assignments will use (Google Workspace, Slack, and others)
Step 1: Create Your First Assignment
- Log in to your Duvo workspace
- Click the Create Assignment button in the left sidebar
- Choose how you want to build:
- Use a Template - Start with a pre-built assignment for common tasks
- Start from Scratch - Build a custom assignment with the Assignment Builder
Step 2: Describe What You Want
If starting from scratch, describe what you want your assignment to do in plain English. For example:“Every Monday morning, check my Gmail inbox for expense reports, extract the amounts, and add them to my Google Sheet.”The Assignment Builder will help you refine this into a working assignment.
Step 3: Set Up Your Connections
Your assignment needs access to the systems it will work with:- Go to Resources → Connections in the left sidebar
- Click on the connection you need (Gmail, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Follow the prompts to authorize access
- Return to your assignment and select the Connections you set up
Step 4: Test Your Assignment
Before scheduling or relying on your assignment:- Open your assignment
- Click Run to start a test job
- Watch the session log to see your assignment working
- Review the results and refine if needed
Step 5: Schedule or Run On-Demand
Once you’re happy with how your assignment works:- Run manually - Click Run whenever you need the task done
- Schedule it - Set up automatic jobs (daily, weekly, etc.)
